THE BT400-NEX-G
Portable Indirect Gas Fired Herman Nelson Heater
Temperature range 150 °F – 250 °F
This indirect-fired heater is engineered for extreme cold, operating reliably in temperatures as low as –40 °F/°C and below. With a 250 °F (121 °C) temperature rise, the BT400NEX-G can deliver 250 °F outlet air even when the ambient temperature is –40 °F.
Powered by a Honda 5.5 HP gasoline engine, this Herman Nelson indirect heater is regarded as one of the most dependable units in the industry—trusted by both the U.S. and Canadian military as well as major airlines around the world.
Manufactured in Canada, the BT400NEX-G is built to withstand brutal northern winters. It has been in continuous production since 1973, with ongoing engineering improvements. In 2010, the original Herman Nelson design was upgraded with full electronic temperature control and electronically actuated valves, making it easier to operate, more reliable, and more economical to maintain.
The BT400NEX-G is O-TL certified to UL 733-1993 (to CSA standards).
