Herman Nelson Heaters in Action: Helping Cary in Antarctica
While searching online for Herman Nelson-related information, we came across an interesting story from Casey Station, Antarctica. The Australian Antarctic Division shared a post from May 30, 2014, detailing how our BT 400 NEX-G2 heater helped solve a critical issue in the harsh Antarctic conditions.
On that day, Cary struggled to start his loader in the extreme cold. The freezing temperatures made it nearly impossible to get the equipment running—until he turned to the BT 400 NEX-G2 indirect-fired heater. Thanks to its powerful and reliable heating capabilities, the loader started on the first attempt. As Cary put it:
“The loader started first go, and we were home in time for lunch.”
We are thrilled to see our Herman Nelson heaters making a real difference, even in one of the most extreme environments on Earth. From Antarctica to the Arctic, our heaters keep equipment running and operations moving.
